God's people have been in a major transition! There seem to be 6 phases of life, that the believers will go through. The first phase is the crawling to the tree branch where we will be nourished and prepared to rest a season. Even the ant gathers and stores up for the down times. The branch of life for God's people is Jesus, and he is the giver of life.
John 15:2, every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away, but every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Isaiah 4:2, in that day shall the branch of the Lord be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel
Ecclesiastes 3:1, To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.
The next stage is spinning and covering stage, where the believer will cacoon like the caterpillar on the branch. The caterpillar will spin a silk wrap around itself until it is fully covered. The cacoon is a protection stage, while the caterpillar is being transformed to become something beautiful. The translation stage is dark, closed off, and lonely for the believer. During the transitioning stage, the believer may feel like God has forgotten them, but God has not forgotten because He is reconstructing the person to become what He called them to be.
What is a cacoon? The cacoon is produced in stages of the butterfly for the resting pupal stage in the caterpillar's life to become a butterfly. This transformation is a phenomenal creation of God!
God requires a resting place for His people, so that they may be transformed to what He has called them to be in the earth. Isaiah 32:18, And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.
The butterfly will remain in it's resting place for 21 days. As the butterfly, God's people will rest in Him through fasting and praying for 21 days, as did Daniel.
Daniel 10:2-3, In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.
3I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.
During stage 2, the believer will fast and pray during their rest.
Stage 3, the butterfly will begin to exercise its wings to gain strength to fly. As the butterfly must break free from the cacoon, so will the believer's breakthrough! While the butterfly has to be strengthening his wings, the believers will gain strength through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
The 6th stage is the flight! The butterfly has strentghtneded its wings and can now take flight. What a beautiful sight to see the monarch butterfly flow in the wind! Once the believer is strengthened through Jesus, he will be able to fly into the things God has ordained him to do in earth.
Romans 15:17, I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God.
Isaiah 60:8, Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?
We are all meant to fly for God and cover a region, city, nation, and/or state! Jeremiah 48:40, For thus saith the LORD; Behold, he shall fly as an eagle, and shall spread his wings over Moab.
After we have learned to fly like the butterfly, we will then begin to soar like and eagle for the kingdom of heaven. Proverbs 23:5, Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.
Ezekiel 17:3, And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; A great eagle with great wings, longwinged, full of feathers, which had divers colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar. Our resting in the Lord will transform us to fly in great strength to do His will on the earth, so eagles, let us soar in the wind of the Lord, and through the strength of Jesus! Amen
